Kangaroo Island : 4 Day (3 Night) Accommodation Tour

Day 1
Welcome to our Kangaroo Island Tour. We start our Kangaroo Island experience from your city accommodation and travel to Cape Jervis to meet our Ferry Departure at 12 noon for a 45 minute crossing.

Travel to Cape Willoughby Historical Light house for a Guided Tour. With lots see on way to American River we stop at Prospect Hill for the Fit & Health Challenge of 512 steps to top, with spectacular views all around. With our challenge done we arrive at Kangaroo Island Lodge for our dinner and Penguin Nocturnal Tour. Overnight accommodation (D only)
With lots see on way to our accommodation in American River we divert via Prospect Hill to
Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Craft & Gallery and around the corner is the Clifford Honey Farm, with the
best honey ice cream in SA. With our off road adventure only starting we arrive at Kangaroo
Island Lodge for our dinner and Penguin Nocturnal Tour. Overnight Accommodation (D only)

Day 2
Kangaroo Island is larger than we think so with this in mind we depart after an early breakfast and travel an hour and a half to arrive at Seal Bay for our personalised beach tour. Here we see the rare breading colony of Australian Sea-Lions. After morning tea and a little gift shopping, we are back on the road again. Before long, we find ourselves stopping off at Little Sahara, briefly exploring the white moving sand dunes. With the tummy rumbling it is time for lunch before being inspired by the Birds of Prey show. See Wedge Tail Eagles in flight.

Miss Birds of Prey show and continue on to Kelly Hill caves for the 2:15pm Adventure Caving Tour- ***Cost Not Included POA
Continue on to Kelly Hill caves for the 3:15pm General Cave Tour (Included)
Enjoy Outdoor activities ie : Quad Bike Eco Tour ***Cost Not Included POA

With our activities completed we head to the Koala Walk and see koala’s in their natural habitat.
As the sun goes down, we stop at the Kangaroo Island Wilderness Retreat. After a fabulous dinner,
view the native animals from your courtyard veranda. Overnight Accommodation (B,L)
Dinner A-la- Carte is own choice & Not Included.

Day 3
Wow! Our whirl wind tour continues, as today we reach our destination, at the southern tip of Kangaroo Island. In the Flinders Chase National Park, this morning we visit Remarkable Rocks, with wind swept sculptured boulders. Next stop is Weirs Cove, a once hostile environment and supply base for nearby Cape Du Couedic lighthouse. Down the hill we discover the spectacular Admirals Arch, a natural wonder sculptured by the sea. View New Zealand Fur seals frolicking in the surf or resting on the rocks.

With time running away from us, we leave the National Park. Travelling (and in some cases back tracking) we arrive at Marron Café for a light Lunch and with the Two Wheeler Creek Wines right next door, we may never leave. From lunch, it’s then off to Parndana Wildlife Park. See it all here up close and personal.

If you like sheep you will love Island Pure Sheep Dairy. Yes people! Cheese from sheep’s milk, Fried Haloumi Cheese is fantastic.
Travel via Kingscote to the Reeves Point Historical site and then around the corner is the Bay of Shoals Winery for some more tastings.

Returning to American River and staying at Kangaroo Island Lodge once again, we enjoy our A-la-Carte dinner and overnight Accommodation. (B,L,D)

Client Departure Option

For International and Interstate Clients who wish to make flight connections or other services- this is an option
You depart from Kingscote Airport at 6.30 pm to Arrive Adelaide 7.15 pm. Tour ends. Please advise early for this option.
Additional cost may apply POA.

Day 4
With our departure time close, we have two options to consider

Standard Tour
One last event to see a Pelican feeding at 8:45am, by the staff of Kangaroo Island Lodge.
Then we depart to Penneshaw for our 10:30 am Ferry departure.
We travel from Cape Jervis to Adelaide. Tour concludes 1:00pm (B)

Air Departure Option
You depart via Kingscote Airport to Arrive Adelaide Airport. 45 mins flight direct to Adelaide. Various departure times. (Subject to availability and tour departures)
Please advise early for this option. Tour ends. ****Additional cost will apply POA.****
