Murraylands: 3 Day Accommodation Tour

Travel to the Murraylands with You Toucan Tour on this three-day four wheel-drive accommodated tour.

Day 1
Depart Adelaide 9am starting our tour with a scenic drive to Gorge Wildlife Park and enjoy holding a koala. After lunch we proceed into the Murraylands region with the changing landscapes. Arriving at our accommodation location, and with a quick freshen up and lunch, we board 'The Jester', and enjoy a relaxing afternoon cruise. On our return we visit the visit the Mannum Dock Museum of River History. We then have time for other options or activities. Perhaps enjoy a walk along the Main Street and Mary Anne Reserve home of the Murray Princess, before enjoying our evening meal. Includes lunch and dinner.

Day 2
Enjoy a hearty breakfast before we travel to Swan Reach and visit the Swan Reach and District Museum. A scenic drive leads us along the eastern side of the River Murray arriving at Nildottie to visit the Ngaut Ngaut Aboriginal Site. Experience a walk through Aboriginal Dreaming Culture. After lunch we travel along the banks of the River Murray to Murray Bridge. Our Journey takes us to Old Tailem Town where we step back in time. Wander around this historic village, which contains more than 70 old buildings dating back as far as 1900. We then travel onto Dundee's Wildlife Park discovering the large range of Australian wildlife and perhaps hold a baby crocodile, python or a black cockatoo. This also is our dinner stop on our journey before returning to our accommodation in Mannum. Includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 3
As we leave Mannum and head home, we stop at Monarto Zoological Park and have a guided safari bus tour in their 1,000 hectare open range sanctuary. After lunch we journey to historic Hahndorf, for a beer at the pub. We meander in and out or the many art and craft shops, or simply enjoy a coffee at the local coffee shops. Our final stop is at Mount Lofty for a scenic view of Adelaide before ending our tour at 5pm. Includes breakfast and lunch.
