Discover South Australia’s  Outback, Cultural, Heritage and Regional Experience. This tour gives you a great mix of outback cultural and scenic locations, seeing the majority of well known places of interest, with diverse condition's, either road or weather and along our journey.  Note this is along and busy tour for client comfort have a chat with us first to see if suitable for you. 

Day 1:Our tour starts with your accommodation pick up in Adelaide. 8:00am as we travel north you start to see the changing landscape. In Pt Augusta we visit the, Wadlata Cultural Centre this our light lunch stop and 1-2 hour tour. Next stop a few km outside Pt Augusta is the Australian Arid Lands Botanic Gardens, here we discover the variety of plants with a 1-2 hour native plan tour. Overnight dinner and accommodation is in Pt Augusta.(L,D)

Day 2 :After breakfast we depart Pt Augusta for our drive to Coober Pedy  along the way we stop at various locations for comfort stops and lunch.  Taking in the wide open and changing landscape before we know it we are arriving in Coober Pedy then we settle into our accommodation and evening meal. Overnight Coober Pedy (B,L,D)

Day 3: With a fresh start and after a country breakfast. Today it’s local time in Coober Pedy with various activity and tour options of the township and surrounding areas, maybe even do some Noodling, and with time to Opal Shop at the source. (Note the tour options are not detailed for operational reasons) Overnight Coober Pedy dinner and accommodation. (B,L,D)

Day 4 :After a great Coober Pedy breakfast its time to hit the road, about 8:30am we’re off on    the first stage of the day to William Creek, following the Outback Mail Run's well used road. Here you can take advantage (Optional*) of Wright Air and take a 1 hour famous Painted Hills scenic flight, with lunch at the William Creek Pub. Continuing via road we call into Coward Springs for a pit stop, and wonder at the isolation, the explorer experienced the buildings of the old Ghan Railway line. As we search the landscape for movement   traveling onto Lake Eyre South lookout briely, before a few more km to Marree. We enjoy the country hospitality and dinner, accommodation cabin* Overnight Marree (B,L,D)

Day 5: In Maree for breakfast, with once again the main event close, we board our aircraft for our Lake Eyre experience 1 .5 hour Scenic flight (Included)ex Marree. On our return we travel South via Lyndhurst to Leigh Creek Coalfields and explore the mines equipment museum. From here we stop in Copley for lunch at the Pub or Cafe option, and then continue onto the Iga Warta Cultural Center in the beautifully Gammon Ranges. Through the Coultard family we start our cultural journey and participate in and learn about the Adnyamathanha people, we various activity options avaliable and a more relaxed style and pace, of the next two days schedule, this will vary based on staff, and weather. The activties are Plant Tour or a site visit to Yura Muda this afternoon . Enjoy a Cultural cookout using traditional bush tucker combinded with a warm campfire and traditional story telling brings us to a close for today .* Note.Vegatarian option also avaliable. we stay in country Safari tent * accommodation Overnight Iga Warta (B, L, D).

Day 6 :NOTE.SEE our ALTERNATIVE Options for days  6 / 7 & 8 Todays activites begin breakfast, we complete any activity not done at this point, Ie Plant Tour or a site visit to Yura Muda .After lunch we thank the Coultard familyof the Adnyamathanha People, then it’s off to Arkaroola via Italowie Gorge and Balcanoona . With time to explore Arkaroola centre and maybe even a small hike around the area, after settling into our accommodation. Evening brings an early dinner so you have time to view the night sky from the Arkaroola Observatory. Option based on weather on the day alt next night .Overnight Arkaroola (B,L,D)

Day 7: NOTE..SEE our ALTERNATIVE Options for days 6 / 7 & 8  After breakfast the day starts early, with the well known and recommended Ridge Top Tour, with spectacular view's, from Sillars lookout in this wilderness outback region. On our return to Arkaroola we grab a picnic take away lunch. With the afternoon free to explore local walks or (Optional additional 4wd trek ) Once again the option for the Observatory viewing after dinner. Overnight Arkaroola (B,L,D)

Day 8 NOTE ........SEE our ALTERNATIVE Options for days 6 / 7 & 8 We depart Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctury heading back through Balcanoona to Wilpena Pound a few km later (well then 190km to be fair) we arrive at Wilpena Pound . With picnic lunch we discover Old Wilpena Station, before settling at our accommodation later in the afternoon . Note Scenic flights with Wilpena Air is also an option at this point. Overnight Wilpena Pound (B,L,D)

Day 9 With an early start we walk to the historical Hills Homestead walking via sliding rock along Wilpena creek. Wangarra Lookout will give you some panoramic views of Wilpena Pound. We then travel through Bunyeroo Gorge and Brachina Gorge. We stop    at the renowned Prairie Hotel at Parachilna for lunch to indulge    in some”flinders feral food,”wild fruits, kangaroo fillet, emu    eggs or perhaps wallaby stir fry. Vegetarian options .       After lunch we are off to historical Blinman 1859-1908. Here     time permitting we take a look at this old copper mine or simply a coffee at the Wildlime cafe. As we journey Southwards we visit locations like, “The Great Wall of China”, Stokes Hill lookout, Cazenaux tree and return to Wilpena Pound Resort .Overnight (B,L,D)

Day 10: Unfortunately our time in the Flinders Ranges closes as we leave Wilpena Pound and journey southwards, just outside Hawker we visit Yourumbulla caves with some excellent examples of aboriginal rock paintings. Traveling on through Orroroo to Jamestown where we stop Café 47 for our lunch. Continuing on to Clare Valley and enjoy a couple of wineries for tasting (if interested & time permitting). From the Clare Valley we travel direct to Adelaide arriving about 6pm. (B,L)

Day 6  ALTERNATIVE Days for 6 / 7 / 8  ADDITIONAL CULTURAL ACTIVITIES                                                 With the excitment building for todays activities after breakfast we contiune our cultural journey with todays options, Malkii Panting sites.(Requires some bushwalking ). Todays other is either Hill Climb 4 hours tour * (with some challenging bush walking min 4person ) collecting bush tucker. Or alternative is Red Gorge Tour(Includes bush lunch) a 5 hours combination 4wd and walking tour with some significance engravings at this site. Late afternoon after our activities are done we relax before dinner. Our Cultural cookout using traditional bush tucker combinded with a warm campfire and traditional story telling brings us to a close for today .* Note.Vegatarian option also avaliable.Overnight Iga Warta (B,L,D)
