Combined with the vast and breathtaking scenery and sensational panoramic views of the Flinders Ranges & Outback and discover the vast area of Lake Eyre. (6hr scenic option Ex Wilpena) Experience with diverse cultural and heritage places of interest, along the way.

Day 1: Depart Adelaide at 8am and travel to Wilpena Pound along the way we will stop at Quorn, one of South Australia’s historical towns for lunch. Discover Kanyaka ruins an old sheep property dating back to 1851, visit the Jeff Morgan Gallery in Hawker before arriving in Wilpena Pound around 4.30 pm, (L,D) O/N Wilpena Pound.

Day 2 :Alt Flight 1 Option: With an early start we walk to the Historical Hills homestead walking via sliding rock along Wilpena creek. Hike up to Wangarra Lookout will give you panoramic views of Wilpena Pound. Back to the resort to freshen up, grab supplies then onto Old Wilpena Station (time permiting or on return). Before heading to the airstip for you flight. Flight for Lake Eyre .4.5 Hour O/N Wilpena Pound  ......OR......

Day 2 :Alt Flight 2 Option: With an early start and a short drive to Old Wilpena Station for tour and look at theHomestead .....Full day out Flight for Lake Eyre.6 Hour Tour lunch at William Creek Pub O/N Wilpena .Pound

Day3 : We travel in air condition comfort to venture through Buneyroo Gorge, Brachina Gorge. We stop at the renowned Prairie Hotel at Parachilna for lunch to indulge in some”flinders feral food,”wild fruits, kangaroo fillet, emu eggs or perhaps wallaby stir fry. Continuing our tour we stop at Leigh creek coalfield, and then onto our day 2 stop over, at Iga Warta Cultral centre. Here we stay in a country Safari tent or motel room accommodation *and enjoy country cooking and activities (B,L,D)

Day 4 :Awaken to fresh clear country air and with time in the morning, enjoy one activity from a selection presented by the Adnyamathanha People. After lunch it’s off to Arkaroola via Italowie Gorge and Balcanoona after settling at our accommodation and evening dinner we view the night sky from the Arkaroola Observatory. (B,L,D)

Day 5 After breakfast the day starts with an early Ridge Top Tour,with spectacular view of this outback region. With time to explore Arkaroola centre and grab some lunchon   our return. Before heading off back through the Gammon Ranges to Blinman copper mines 1859-1908. As we journey Southwards via “Great wall of china” Stokes   Hill lookout, and the Cazenaux tree.O/NWilpena Pound (B,L,D).

Day 6 : Unfortunately our time in the Flinders Ranges closes and with an early start, we visit Yourumbulla caves with some excellent examples of aboriginal rock paintings, Continuing on to Hawker, Orroroo, Jamestown and with a quick light lunch, its of again via the Clare Valley, arriving back in Adelaide approx 6 pm.(B,L)
