The native Aboriginal people called Adnyamathanha (the stone people) are the keeper of this traditional land .Experience diverse cultural and heritage places of interest, feel the land as  its thousands of years old, combined with panoramic views of the Flinders Ranges and Gammon Rangers is a Cultural  MUST see and do.

 Day 1:Our journey starts with your accommodation pick up in Adelaide at 8:00am as we travel north you start to see the changing landscape. In Pt Augusta we visit the, Wadlata Cultural Centre 1-2 hour tour, also our light lunch stop. Next stop the Australian Arid Lands Botanic Gardens, for an 1-2 hour native plan tour. Later we settle into our Motel accommodation and dinner. (L,D)

Day 2 :After breafast its time for an relaxing 2 hour River Cruise along part of the Spencer gulf. We depart Pt Augusta on our return and travel to Wilpena Pound along the way we will stop at Quorn, one of South Australia’s historical Railway towns for lunch at the Quongdong cafe. Later we soon discover Kanyaka Homestead ruins an old sheep property dating back to 1851. In Hawker we visit the Jeff Morgan gallery and see the Panorama painting of Wilpena Pound we arrive later and settle into our accommodation O/NWilpena Pound (B,L,D)

Day 3 :With an early start we walk to the Historical Hills homestead walking via sliding rock along Wilpena creek. Hike up to Wangarra Lookouts will give you some panoramic views of Wilpena Pound . Back to the resort to freshen up, grab supplies check out and onto Old Wilpena Station. Before or after at this point (Optional) local area Scenic flight over the spectacular Wilpena Pound. Soon were off to venture through Buneyroo Valley, here we stop at twin gums for afernoon tea, continuing on to the breathtaking Brachina Gorge. Later with we arrive at the renowned Prairie Hotel in for dinner and our overnight accommodation. Dinner as an option which the hotel is famous for is to indulge, in the*”flinders feral food,”wild fruits, kangaroo fillet, emu eggs or perhaps wallaby stir fry*.O/N Parachilna Praire hotel (B,L,D) Vegetarian options.

Day 4 :After breakfast the day starts with an early morning drive to our next desination the Leigh creek coalfield, and on to our day four stop over, at Iga Warta Cultural Center. Today after lunch through the Coultard family we start our cultural journey and participate in and learn about the Adnyamathanha people, we various activity options availiable and a more relaxed style and pace, of the  next two days schedual, this will vary based on staff, and weather. The activties are Plant Tour (Pictured)or a site visit to Yura Muda this afternoon . At Iga Warta Cultural Center we stay in country Safari tent * accommodation and enjoy traditional*country cooking (B,L,D)

Day 5 :With the excitment building for todays activities after breakfast we contiune our cultural journey with todays options, Malkii Panting sites.(Requires some bushwalking ). Todays other is ethier Hill Climb 4 hours tour * (with some challenging bush walking min 4person ) collecting bush tucker. Or alternative is Red Gorge Tour(Includes bush lunch) a 5 hours combination 4wd and walking tour with some significance engravings at this site. Late afternoon after our activities are done we relax before dinner. Our Cultural cookout using traditional bush tucker combinded with a warm campfire and traditional story telling brings us to a close for today .* Note.Vegatarian option also avaliable.(Pictured)(B,L,D)

Day 6: Todays activites begin breakfast, we complete any activity not done at this point, Ie Plant Tour or a site visit to Yura Muda .After lunch we thank the Coultard familyof the Adnyamathanha People, then it’s off to Arkaroola via Italowie Gorge and Balcanoona . With time to explore Arkaroola centre and maybe even a small hike around the area, after settling into our accommodation. Evening bring an early dinner so you have time to view the night sky from the Arkaroola Observatory. Option (B,L,D)

Day 7:After breakfast the day starts early, with the well known and recomended Ridge Top Tour, with spectacular view's, from Sillars lookout in this wilderness outback region. On our return to Arkaroola we grab a picnic take away lunch, before heading off back through the Gammon Ranges to historical Blinman 1859-1908. Here time permitting we take a look at this old copper mine or simlpy a coffee at the Wildlime cafe. As we journey Southwards we visit locations like, “The Great Wall of China”, Stokes Hill lookout, Cazenaux tree and return to Wilpena Pound Resort .(B,L,D)

Day 8 :Unfortunately our time in the Flinders Ranges closes as we leave Wilpena Pound and journey southwards, just outside Hawker we visit Yourumbulla caves with some excellent examples of aboriginal rock paintings. Traveling on through Orroroo to Jamestown where we stop Café 47 for our lunch. Continuing on to Clare Valley and enjoy a couple of wineries for tasting (if interested & time permitting). From the Clare Valley we travel direct to Adelaide arriving about 6pm. (B,L)
